Match Play Events is an online app that allows you to run many types of tournament on any device (tablet, laptop, computer). Your players can follow standings and results live on their own mobile devices.
Players can go to https://matchplay.events/live to find your tournament and see live results.
You have to stay connected to the internet while using Match Play Events. The main advantage this gives you over offline apps is that your tournaments are not tied to a single device. If you forget to bring your tablet to a tournament you can simply borrow any tablet and login to your MAtch Play Events account and be ready to run your tournament.

Yes, you can. If you add an arena it will be available the next time you draw any arena. If you remove an arena existing matches will not be affected, but you can manually redraw arenas for affected matches.
Yes, you can! The one exception is single elimination bracket tournaments. For those tournaments removing a player has no effect and you need to give that player a loss in their current match. Adding players to a single elimination bracket after the tournament has started has no effect.
For all other tournaments you can add and remove players after the tournament has started. This can be very useful in case a player has to leave early or one arrives late. Adding and removing players doesn't take affect until you start the next round. The current round is unaffected. Count your players before starting each round!
For knockout tournaments you should manually adjust the strike count of the late arrival or they get an unfair advantage.
